Global innovator and leader in technology, Sharp Information Systems Europe (SISE) has launched the world’s largest 8K LCD electronic display unit.
A division of Sharp Electronics Europe, Sharp’s industry-leading MFPs and large production display systems sit at the heart of integrated applications for digital transformation and include innovative video walls, digital signage displays, and interactive flat panel displays for collaborative presentations.
The new large format display is the largest 8K monitor available on the market and reproduces images at a higher resolution than the human eye can capture, delivering a high level of contrast and significant benefits to an increasing number of businesses that rely on high levels of detail and accuracy. Such innovation is specifically beneficial to the broadcast, design and medical sectors as well as high-pressure data-intensive environments such as air traffic control and trading floors.
The 8K display’s exceptional picture quality and enhanced colour accuracy is achieved through a wide colour-gamut and optimized LED backlight. The HDR (High Dynamic Range) further improves the depth of the image by increasing the contrast and colour range creating a more saturated and natural image.
Peter Heins, Senior Product Manager, says:
“The latest addition to Sharp’s 8K ecosystem delivers our best-in-class 8K technology in the largest display ever introduced to the market. We are excited to continue to develop our 8K ecosystem to further support businesses that require ultimate image precision and clarity.”
Stockport based Sharp Sales Director Nick Rose added:
“Following the acquisition of Midshire by Sharp in 2019, we have been able to expand the products and services we can offer to our customers. Having the world’s largest 8K LCD electronic display unit within our portfolio demonstrates Sharp’s innovative approach to technology and gives our customers a ground-breaking solution for their exact display needs.”
Sharp offers a unique portfolio of award-winning document management and display solutions to help organisations transform the way they engage with information including innovative video walls, digital signage and interactive flat panel displays for collaborative presentations.
